The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform system installs, troubleshooting, manage accounts and administration of polices, and recommend procurements for the specific project.
- Monitorinformation systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Providereports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems.
- Providetechnical documentation and mission support within the greater C5I environment.
- Scheduleinstallations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the SYSMAN infrastructure.
- Required to complete ongoing training to sustain regulatory guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Some college working towards bachelor's degreein a technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience as a system administrator
- IAT II certification required
- Top secret clearancerequired with the ability to obtain an SCI.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Abilityto obtain an SCI clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to work shift work.
- Knowledge and skill with applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.
- Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy.
