What you'll learn:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of a programmatic revenue landscape and industry macro trends.
- Gain exposure to major advertising and reporting platforms: Google, Amazon, Adobe's Omniture, and Domo to name just a few.
What you'll do:
- Assist in executing and managing programmatic advertising initiatives from implementation to reporting.
- Monitor existing campaigns for changes in performance and opportunities for optimization.
- Enforce best practices for open auction, programmatic guaranteed, and PMPs across the team.
- Responsible for pacing, margin and performance for all programmatic campaigns managed
- Perform campaign QA: Troubleshoot issues with creatives, deals, priority.
- Set up, optimize and successfully fulfill programmatic direct campaigns post-sale from beginning to end in SSPs
- Suggest programmatic strategy and tactics that coordinate with and augment the overall media plan objectives
- Support upsell opportunities by analyzing data to back up recommendations and performance against client KPIs
- Communicate new campaign management strategy ideas to help drive client alignment
- Produce and present engaging campaign analysis to clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing, and media optimization and management
- Build and deliver weekly reporting and ad hoc reporting inclusive of formatted Excel reports, Looker dashboards and performance insights and recommendations
- Recommend changes to existing products, policies, and processes that improve overall performance
Requirements:
- BA or equivalent with emphasis on coursework in marketing, advertising, business; preferably a degree in Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or Statistics
- 2 + years of experience in programmatic advertising, or media with a focus on supporting media activation and data analysis across all digital channels (social, programmatic, etc)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in programmatic platforms (e.g. Google Ad Manager, Xandr, Index Exchange, TTD)
- Experience in working with Excel and large datasets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Proven ability to navigate client and partner communication
- Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment
- Skilled at using data to inform decisions and innovative ideas
