Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Systems Architecture, Senior Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston location. The Systems Architect will configure, test, implement and maintain necessary network infrastructure in support of software releases through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
• Perform system integration, software installation, patching, and configuration of physical and virtual servers
• Responsible for system upgrades, maintenance, backups, and security
• Setup firewall settings, server IP address and active directory components
• Develop collaboration to integrate security and requirements into information systems
• Design and implement system architecture, user security access, server load balancing, performance diagnostics, and tuning
• Collaborate with software developers to design, test, and integrate applications
• Responsible for performance analysis using VMware vSphere and vCenter virtual environments
• Responsible for server hardware and integration with system applications
• Monitor system performance to support capacity, and verify efficiency
• Develop documents for system administration standard operating procedures
• Orchestrate the deployment of software across multiple servers in physical and virtual environments
• Establish release management systems with ALM infrastructure tool
• Create and administer ControlM automation jobs and agents for multiple projects

Required Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in supporting the design, configuration, operation and maintenance on networking and computer systems
• At least 5 years of experience supporting virtual environments and servers
• Proven experience with software design and engineering, as well as the software development life cycle
• Experience developing workflows as it pertains to system operation and administration
• Strong communication skills, ability to work well with others
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with CMMI-Dev principles
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Microsoft Project Server
• Experience in software testing
• Experience supporting financial systems
• Knowledge of Federal accounting/financial management policies, practices, operations and procedures
• Experience in transitioning a client/server application to web-based
• Experience with PeopleSoft applications or education
