Senior Administrative Support


The Senior Administrative Support will interact and coordinate with lateral organizations or external agencies as required including base facility, personnel, security, computer support, and building managers to facilitate day-to-day operations.

  • Support meetings and events hosted by government personnel on an as-required basis.
  • Schedule meetings and briefings in conference rooms for office staff.
  • Provide pre-event planning support to include, but not limited to:
  • Agenda development
  • Room/location reservation and setup
  • Attendee invitations
  • Distinguished Visitor (DV) parking
  • Presentation preparation
  • Travel requirements
  • Support CONUS in-event execution including, but not limited to:
  • Graphics
  • Facilitation
  • General administrative
  • Protocol support.
  • Administrative support CMEs shall not travel to OCONUS locations.
  • Support post-event actions and follow-up requirements from government personnel.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and modification of Directorate/Division/Program schedules and calendars.
  • Ensure consistency across multiple calendars and schedules to ensure applicable government personnel and always have the most current information.
  • Support the planning, formulation, editing, development, publication, and storage of finished products to include, but not limited to:
  • Program documentation
  • Plans
  • Directives
  • Reports
  • Briefings
  • Other presentations as required (technical and non-technical, classified and unclassified) in the media and format requested.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Master's degree and 10+ years of experience in a respective technical/professional discipline OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in a respective technical/professional discipline OR
  • 15+ years of office administration related experience
  • Secret clearance required

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Have a friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent Mcrosoft Word, Excel, and other Office application skill
  • Ability to work in a home office setting
  • Ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills, and a professional demeanor
  • Previous customer service experience strongly desired
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
