The Senior Configuration Data Management Analyst shall aid in the application of the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.

  • Analyze the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment.
  • Develop and manage all Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements.
  • Update and maintain electronic database toolkits.
  • Plan and implement Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and confirm the adequacy of data used to support these audits.
  • Participate in government reviews, meetings, and working groups as applicable and in government and industry teams for the resolution of complex configuration management issues.
  • Develop the Configuration Control Board (CCB) charter and assist in the execution of the CCBs.
  • Review, develop, and update applicable program documentation for configuration/data management relevant requirements.
  • Perform configuration management and data management tasks as needed.
  • Establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional and physical attributes with its requirements, and design and operational information throughout its life.
  • Analyze the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment.
  • Identify all pertinent sources of and uses for configuration management data.
  • Confirm the adequacy of data for use in system verification reviews (SVR), FCAs, and PCAs and performing said audits.
  • Assess proposed configuration management changes and impact systems sustainment, supportability requirements, and provide the government with findings and recommendations.
  • Review of program specifications for hardware and software, review engineering drawings and conduct in-process reviews, request nomenclature and Computer Program Identification Number (CPIN) assignment for Configuration Items (CIs), ensure marking of CI/Computer Software CIs (CSCIs) and associated documentation is accurate, and ensure appropriate documentation is approved.
  • Support with the determination of CSA data base requirements, monitor data input, track the configuration of fielded systems and equipment, and monitor changes and status of configuration baseline documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Master's degree and 10+ years of experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12+ years of experience OR
  • 15+ years of directly related experience
  • Secret clearance required

  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a home office setting.
  • Ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
