MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Project Management, Manager to perform the duties of an Information Technology (IT) Military Construction (MILCON) project manager to support a Federal Government client in Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL. The IT MILCON Project Manager will provide on-site support of the Integrated Capabilities Office (ICO) team at CCAFS, FL.

Key Duties
  • Advises the ICO Mission Assurance Group Director on all IT related matters during source selection, design, construction, transition, and project closeout phases of the ICO MILCON.
  • Determine and monitor IT related funding levels and timing throughout the duration of the MILCON.
  • Serves as a liaison and interface for IT related matters with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC), NAWC WOLF, and other MILCON project stakeholders.
  • Creates and maintains current cost, schedule, performance, and risk data on IT related matters suitable for supporting senior leader discussions and decisions.
  • Produces other tailored briefing products as requested by the Mission Assurance Group Director.
  • Ensure all ICO IT design requirements are documented and included in the design of record to minimize change orders.
  • Represents the Mission Assurance Group Director on IT matters during weekly owner's meetings with the design/build team and all stakeholders to review construction schedules and risks.

Required Qualifications
  • BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience (MS/MA preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with IT MILCON project management.
  • Experience with quality control of data.
  • Experience with strategic planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organization skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
