Emmes Services Pvt. Ltd , ("Emmes") is searching for Clinical Systems Analyst in Clinical Research located in our Bangalore, India office. Emmes provides flexibility for office location preference, dependent upon position.

Primary Purpose

Clinical System Analyst act as a liaison between the project team and the programming team. The CSA is responsible for managing a project's software development life cycle, assisting with implementation, configuration, training and support of Emmes' suite of software products for project needs, and ensuring that requirements and specifications for systems are documented accurately and communicated to the programming team and project team. The candidate must be a great verbal and written communicator, tactful diplomat, problem solver, thinker and analyzer - with the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs in rapidly changing business environments. This can often involve dealing with senior stakeholders and can often involve challenging and questioning to ensure efficient and economical solutions from IT developments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a project's software development life cycle for Emmes' suite of software products. This includes developing timelines and coordinating and leading release meetings.
  • Communicate and liaise between the IT staff and project staff to ensure mutual understanding with regards to protocol workflow, technical requirements, time lines, system functionality, system capabilities, and new product features.
  • Provide domain expertise with Emmes' suite of software products
  • Elicit requirements and write functional and configuration requirements for systems
  • Evaluate requirements and determine feasibility based on system capabilities
  • Research and propose efficient and economical solutions
  • Create test plans and test scripts for functional requirements
  • Troubleshoot system issues
  • Prioritize and manage project technical issues and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with corporate SOPs and ensure Good Documentation Practice


Experience

  • Requires a B. Tech in Information Systems/ Life Sciences with 2 to 5 years related experience
  • Strong computer, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with requirements analysis/writing and software development lifecycle
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Skills in prioritization, time management and planning
  • Understanding of database management, JavaScript and SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a complex team environment
  • Preferably from a CRO.
