FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time, Regular

  • The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality auditors and trainers in a production environment to perform all audit and training functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform QC reviews and provide a report of results/findings, and measures taken to correct any defects discovered.
  • Delineate the organizational placement, duties, and responsibilities of the QC staff.
  • Reconcile all RAILS Audit Reports within twenty-four hours of the audit: search for, locate, and update all unaudited files.
  • Maintain a results log of completed audits.
  • Verify all scanning processes for Priority requests and prepare them for ingestion into EDMS within two business days from receipt of the file.
  • Comply with all contract specifications.
  • Attend in-person meetings with government personnel as required.
  • Conduct monthly audits of files located within the USCIS and contractor work units.
  • Reconcile all Audit Reports within twenty-four hours of the audit: search for, locate, and update all unaudited files.
  • Conduct special audits as needed at the direction of the Government, and update file tracking system accordingly.
  • Notify the Government of any error trends.
  • Verify all scanning processes for priority requests and prepare them for ingestion into Government systems within two business days from receipt of the file.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines: program management, business or public administration, production/operations/manufacturing/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting.
  • USCIS will allow a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, as certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), in lieu of the educational requirements.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in managing quality control operations in a production environment related to records management, paper processing, or a similar production environment.
  • Must have managed quality control for an operation of at least 80 people total.
  • Must possess or successfully obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Black Belt as certified by the American Society for Quality, (ASQ), the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, or the Council for Six Sigma Certification.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in preparing and monitoring internal procedures for adherence to Government regulations and policies and coordinating operational and administrative actions.
  • Must have government contracting work experience in the last five years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to be available 24/7 via phone (email, text and call), in case of an emergency.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as requested by customer.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.
  • Ability to present oral briefings to Government oversite personnel.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal ability to communicate with others effectively.
  • Demonstrate good decision-making skills and respond to high-pressure situations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
