  • Venturi, LLC , is seeking a full timeOperations Dispatcher for facility operations and maintenance services for a U.S. Government customer at multiple buildings located at the Bannock County, Idaho site. The Government requires the support services to augment the technical and administrative staff of the site. The entire site consists of nine buildings totaling approximately 266,000 usable square feet (sf), which is comprised of general offices, data centers (DCs), visitor screening facility (VSF), a mail screening facility (MSF), and grounds of the approximate 17 acre site. The Tier III Data Center is in operation 365 days per year (366 in a leap year), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of weather conditions or other events that would usually close local businesses or schools. The core working hours on site are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, Monday (M) - Friday (F) with coverage for all shifts and weekends to support the 24 x 7 x 365 requirements. All personnel are considered emergency essential as the operations of the Data Center must be maintained at all times. Work under this contract includes the performance of PdM, PM, CM, Service Requests (SR) for all buildings, systems and equipment, and grounds year round. Grounds maintenance includes, but not limited to, asphalt and concrete maintenance and repair, landscaping maintenance and repair (including sprinkling/irrigation systems), and snow removal. Grounds maintenance is of great importance to the safety and utility of all facilities in the portfolio. The Operations Dispatcher possesses a minimum of five (5) years of experience scheduling PMs and SRs for a large variety of situations and equipment in different geographic locations and is familiar with FIT programs (specific knowledge and experience in Tririga preferred) for generating WOs and reports. This person's responsibilities would be to coordinate with the Contractor's back office for all the PM and SR WOs SR tickets generated by the Tririga FIT and make them into actionable tasks and then to follow-up and close out the finished WO in Tririga.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This position receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers' requests for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishment or utility company, records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered, prepares work order and distributes to service crew, schedules service calls and dispatches service crew. The Operations Dispatcher calls or writes the customer to insure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders, may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment.
  • Dispatch, track, and communicate with maintenance elements.
  • Provide direction, guidance and information to maintenance operators related to the service of equipment.
  • Communicate with the customer, other vendors, dispatch team, and managers on a daily basis regarding changes and activities.
  • Manage and enhance customer service, ensuring safety and satisfaction are always the primary considerations.
  • Provide requested and/or pertinent information to maintenance operators or customers without displaying a negative or hostile attitude.
  • Maintain radio contact with maintenance technicians at all times to obtain and/or report maintenance and schedule information which may impacted facility operations.
  • Complete written reports as required on maintenance deficiencies, repairs, and corrective actions, and other issues as required.
  • Know and follow all safety and health rules as well as safe working practices applicable to the job.
  • Initiate contingency or corrective actions of maintenance schedules as necessary to ensure safe and timely transportation of all equipment.
  • Monitor all communication devices to ensure all maintenance technicians use proper radio procedures and etiquette. Notify operations management if correction/training is needed.
  • Notify the Safety Manager of any safety and rule violations.
  • Notify the Safety Manager immediately of all operational issues that impact service performance.
  • Maintain proficiency in applicable systems and apply best practices.
  • Assist in accident investigations, reporting, filing, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain daily records and logs as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of experience. Specific contract requirement will prevail, if different.
  • Possesses a minimum of five (5) years of experience in dispatch operations.
  • Provides assistance and attention to the demands of maintenance personnel.
  • Experience with large scale facility maintenance and operations, to include Tier III Data Center Operations, is preferred.
  • U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Read, write, and speak English to the extent necessary in order to perform essential responsibilities.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact with maintenance technicians and other parties with clarity and courtesy.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to work various days and hours as required.
  • Must have 5 years experience in dispatching in a high volume environment.
  • Must be qualified to work in the United States.
  • Experience with maintenance and dispatch software and systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to integrate the proposed solutions with the Government's existing systems and future procedures, systems, tools and hardware/software environment.
  • Competence to optimize system maintenance for performance and minimize downtime.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the Government's business and technical requirements.
  • Ability to effectively interface with the Government's internal support staff.
  • Ability to be responsive to customer support systems.
  • Access to consultation and technology integration skills to augment the Government's internal capabilities as necessary.
  • Ability to assist O&M services for building systems including mechanical and electrical systems, subsystems and support infrastructure on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis, regardless of environmental conditions. This shall include assistance to supervisory and technician staff capable of operating, maintaining, and repairing the facility systems and addressing any emergency conditions on an immediate basis.
  • Prefer familiarity with the Tririga Facility Integration Tool.
