Venturi LLCis currently seeking talented individuals to add to our Talent Network.

TheQuality Control Specialist (QCS) shall ensure inspections conform to the Quality Control Plan, meet OSHA and EPA standards, as well as industry standards for Quality Control. TheQCS shall have at least seven (7) years of experience in quality control credentialed in accordance with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or similar governing body. TheQCS shall be certified in OSHA work environmental standards, safety and accident prevention assessments, and spill containment procedures. TheQCS is a critical part of the management team of the Contractor. Services that require higher level signature shall be provided to theQCS and theQCS shall randomly and regularly schedule QC inspections of all work areas, contractor personnel, equipment and materials as applicable. QC reports shall be provided monthly to the Program Manager for submission for Program Management reviews. The educational requirement for this task is a bachelor's degree or at least five years of experience as a QC inspector and supervisor. TheQCS shall have a US Government Top Secret Security Clearance in order to access classified networks and facilities on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise employees, schedules, and day-to-day operations within the QC Office;
  • Administer management and control of QC inspections;
  • Supervise the selection, workflow, training, and development of staff;
  • Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change;
  • Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories;
  • Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures;
  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods;
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations;
  • Update job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations;
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.;
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to meet production standards and customer requirements;
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • High School diploma and seven (7) years of experience preferably in Quality Control or Quality Assurance and knowledgeable in all aspects of quality control;
  • US Government Top Secret Security Clearance;
  • If required, be able to successfully complete a counterintelligence-based polygraph examination.

  • Conduct employee training in equipment operations, work, and safety procedures by assigning employee training to experienced workers.
  • Manage daily maintenance of quality and safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures.
  • Evaluate maintenance operations for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.
  • Perform spot checks as well as training on installation practices and safety procedures.
  • Understand and ensure all safety procedures in the workplace are met.
  • Create and implement various quality and safety procedures.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
  • Support all safety procedures and policies at the facility.
  • Implement and lead all safety procedures and behaviors.
  • Develop and write reports regarding quality control.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Sound judgment.
