Analyze business processes and applications to identify current states and gaps.

Devise software architectures that support iterative functional improvement and facilitate incorporating new technologies.

Design and develop innovative solutions using the Microsoft .NET Framework with MVC, C#, and Entity Framework.

Develop solutions that meet rigorous security constraints associated with DoD projects.

Provide software architecture guidance to Information Technology leadership regarding infrastructure requirements.

Utilize various APIs and frameworks including Java, REST, ESB, or message queueing for application integration.

Develop REST APIs using C#.

Develop web interfaces that leverage JavaScript.

Understand the Application Development Lifecycle and utilize Agile frameworks, techniques and tools.

Provide metrics reporting as needed.

Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, executive leadership, stakeholders, and developers.

Possess an extreme attention to detail, define effective testing approaches, and produce high-quality deliverables.

Prioritize tasking and meet deadlines.

Learn and think outside of the box.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's or higher Degree (preferred Masters) in a technical field

Obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Follow all policies and procedures governing the secure operation and authorized use of DoD information systems.

Ability to write Structured Query Language (SQL).

Knowledge of the major software design patterns relevant for .NET and how to apply them.

Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Entity Framework, Microsoft MVC, JSON, Microsoft Test Manager, REST APIs.

Desired Skills:

Application programming experience in at least one of the following: (Microsoft C#, Java, PowerShell).

Experience with a scripting language (PowerShell preferred).

Experience with Microsoft Access including VBA.

SQL Database skills including database table design, stored procedure and function development.

JavaScript tools/frameworks such as Telerik or Angular.

Knowledge of Naval aircraft platforms including subsystems, telemetry, instrumentation, and weapons.

One or more Microsoft Developer certifications.
