Job Summary:

Westat is seeking a project coordinator to contribute to employment and disability research projects at the IPS Employment Center in Lebanon, NH.

Job Responsibilities:

· Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Independence Project research study for US military veterans.

· Contact research participants to schedule and conduct telephone interviews.

· Supervise research assistant(s) and ensure completion of following tasks, allocating responsibilities appropriately.

· Manage data entry, data cleaning, and data file maintenance.

· Conducting exploratory analysis and creating data visualizations with Microsoft Excel or other tools.

· Participates in proposal development and management.

· Participate in the preparation of reports and formal presentation of research findings.

· Assist in preparation of materials for Institutional Review Board review and renewal.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree, preferably in the social sciences or health field with 5 years of experience or a Master's degree, preferably in the social sciences or health field with 2 years of experience is required.

Interviewing experience, preferably research interviews is essential. Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, critical thinking skills, and excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a research team.
