The F/A-18 EA18G Advanced Weapons Laboratory International Programs Team is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional individual to become a member of FMS Data Support team providing technical electronic editing of documentation handled by the F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales group.

Essential Job Functions:

Document development/modification/production from rough draft through completion of a final deliverable product to include copy, substantive, integrity, and mechanical style editing which includes retrieval, receipt, placing into releasability/disclosure and/or technical review, tailoring, and preparation for delivery.

Interface ith all levels of the F/A-18 IPT/NAWCWD organizations to coordinate documentation schedule, modifications and deliveries.

Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of all F/A-18 FMS project requirements and NAWCWD processes as defined in applicable documentation.

Interact daily with the customer, case managers, and all necessary NAWCWD organizations.

Train in specialized PC based applications for development and/or modification of documentation.

Interact daily with the customer and all necessary NAWCWD organizations.

Convert pre-existing source data into Portable Document Format (PDF).

Implementation of mark-ups to create revisions of source documentation.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

HS diploma/GED plus 10 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in related studies.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.

Ability to work in a dynamic work force both independently and also as a team.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project.

Proficient in Adobe Pro.

Ability to set goals to meet deadlines utilizing the time provided/work proficiently.

Ability to review and/or edit technical documents and or software data items.

Configuration Management/Data Management experience.

A strong knowledge of grammar/punctuation/spelling.

Ability to pay attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

Understanding of image file properties and types as well as how to edit and convert for use in published media (file and print).

Experience in graphics and imaging.

Understanding of Arbortext and Quiksilver systems.

Boeing DOORS experience a plus.

Experience handling of classified data, both electronically and via hard copy.
