Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a SCCM Engineer to support a Federal Government client at one of our Washington, DC locations.

Responsibilities
• Receive, log and track issues through resolution with detailed after-action reports as required
• Perform proactive duties including patch management and software deployments
• Follow CRS standards regarding engagement, change management and escalations
• Ensure all process, procedures and controls are auditable
• Perform regular updates on compliance for management
• Support the daily health and operational activities required by current production System Center components
• Responsible for the day to day installation, configuration and administration of Microsoft System Center Suite inclusive of all new features
• Work with technical staff on process automation and optimization
• Produce system documentation (diagrams, configurations) of each System Center framework deployed in a test or production environment
• Work with IMT Technicians to understand and solve challenging technical problems, improve system functionality, reliability, and reduce costs
• Effectively communicate with diverse technical teams and multiple lines of business at all levels within CRS

Required Qualifications
• 5 years of relevant Technical experience as a Microsoft Systems Configuration Manager support engineer
• Ability to take ownership of SCCM related issues and drive resolution across teams
• A career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining the System Center Configuration Manager including hands on solution development and implementation experience
• Expertise in the use of PowerShell in support of System Center Configuration Manager
• Very good understanding of Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Orchestrator to include development of run books
• In depth understanding of backup and disaster recovery scenarios of System Center Configuration Manager components
• Current Microsoft Certification (doesn't have to be MCSE)
• Proven work experience in System Center 2012 R2 & 2016
• Proven work experience in Virtual Machine Manager

Desired Qualifications
• Very good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
