The MIL Corporation seeks a Network Engineer to support a Federal Government client in Memphis, TN. The Network Engineer will configure, test, implement and maintain the Data Center infrastructure including power, racks and networks.

• Maintain integrity of the Data Center and provide support for LAN infrastructure at various remote locations
• Provide technical support by evaluating and resolving network problems in the Data Center and other locations
• Evaluate network performance using hardware and software diagnostic tools
• Update and maintain documentation of client's networks
• Maintain production environment with maximum uptime and little customer impact
• Install new hardware from in box to production in rack; install network cabling as required
• Work general O&M activities on the customer's LAN during maintenance hours that derive from the Remedy ticketing system

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the following:
o Data Center Network Hardware: Cisco IOS Based Switches to include Cisco Catalyst 6500, 4500, 3750 & 3560 series
o Network Management Tools: Cisco Prime Infrastructure/Ciscoworks; Cisco ACS Server Nagios; ManageEngine Netflow Analyzer; Wireshark for packet analysis; Remedy
• 3 years general experience with IOS, NX-OS, FabricPath, VPCs, HSRP Anycast, BGP, EIGRP, QOS, ACLs, Port Security, MAB, Netflow, Network Diagramming with Visio
• 3 years general experience with Cisco NX-OS based switches to include Nexus 7000, 5000 & 2000 series; Cisco ASA Firewall experience (various models), familiarity with F5 Load Balancers

• Manage networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
• Work network implementation projects as assigned
• Understanding of networks and troubleshooting communication issues
• Ability to manage demands with frequent changes
• Ability to fluently speak, read and write in the English language
• CCNA or any other Cisco Associate level certification or higher
• 5 years relevant experience
