Joining the Customer Success team will provide you with the support and growth you need to strengthen and evolve your skills within the consulting field.

Appian is seeking an experienced application developer to join our Customer Success Systems team. In this role, you will be engaging with multiple departments in Appian with an emphasis on our customer success management team. Your primary activities will be developing and maintaining our customer success systems that support our corporate and departmental objectives.

To be successful in this role, you need:
  • Gainsight expertise to provide guidance to the Customer Success Systems team
  • Expertise deploying and maintaining Gainsight (preferably Gainsight NXT)
  • Experience with application development in an Agile environment
  • Proven background with database technologies, including SQL skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into terms that end users can understand
  • Awareness of Customer Success industry trends and the overall subject domain
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across groups, build relationships, and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in a customer facing role is preferred

  • Training: During your first few weeks of joining Appian, not only will you go through comprehensive onboarding and Appian training, but you will also complete a CS specific bootcamp to prepare you for your first client project.

Basic qualifications:
  • BS / BA
  • 2+ years of experience with Gainsight (preferably with Gainsight NXT)
