Sales Enablement Manager, Solutions Consultants
  • Focus area: Sales and Solutions Consultants (SC) onboarding and continued development.
  • Deliver and enhance onboarding content for Solutions Consultants. Content will cover demo skills, sales plays, sales skills, soft skills, and technical capabilities and align with the existing Global Sales Methodology framework.
  • Schedule and coordinate SC onboarding schedule and speakers.
  • Develop and manage Pre-Sales Partner Certification Program
  • Create an 18-24 month onboarding plan for the Associate Solution Consultant program. This program is designed to promote recent college graduates to Solution Consultants upon completion.
  • Develop social selling curriculum for BDRs, AEs, and SCs
  • Must be able to complete internal technical bootcamp (Appian Academy).
  • Contribute to overall Sales Onboarding program including, but not limited to, delivering sessions for other onboarding programs (AEs, BDRs, etc), providing input into onboarding enhancements, advocating for and creating opportunities for stronger between SCs and AEs
  • Track and report on SC Competencies, performance and curriculum design to meet the needs of the field and partners.
  • Work with VP of Solutions Consulting to develop "tech summit" content and coursework for Field Kickoff and other stand alone sessions as needed.
  • Work with Sales Transformation leader to create relevant content that enables ongoing development of SCs, to help managers and SCs create informed development plans.
  • Serve in the cross-functional role with other learning teams

Job Requirements
  • 5+ years as a Sales Engineer, CSM, or related field with experience working directly with customers
  • 2+ years in Sales Enablement, learning and development or related field with developing coursework for adult learners
  • Experience working in technology/software industries
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory concepts, basic instructional design skills, and comfort with delivering training in both a remote and in-person setting
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Willingness to take ownership of program content
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Responsiveness to fast-changing conditions and result oriented approach
  • Excellent project management skills with a commitment to timelines and deadlines
