This is an opportunity for an aggressive, hands-on Project Engineer to join the fast-paced world of autonomous solutions with DCS Corp's Army Ground Combat Systems engineering group located in Warren, MI. You will work alongside our U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Robotics and Autonomous Systems Center customer and be rewarded with a technically challenging and diverse career in the areas of manned & unmanned ground vehicles, robotics, vehicle electronics, and ground vehicle simulation.
Join the Army team responsible for researching, designing, developing, engineering, testing, and transitioning autonomous ground vehicle technology for the current and future Force. In this position you will serve as a Project Engineer providing project management support to TARDEC Robotic and Autonomous Systems projects and programs.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide Project Engineering and Lead functions on robotics programs including planning, cost and budget tracking, schedule and milestone tracking, development and execution of test plans, strategic planning, requirement development, analysis, and documentation.

Participate in Army and industry IPTs, to include development and presentation of briefings to stakeholders at all levels of Army management, as well as industry partners.

Coordinate program related activities across functional areas internal to PdM and PEO and with external organizations (TRADOC, ATEC, RDECOM, etc.).
Prepare, review, and deliver high-level briefings, information papers, executive summaries, and other forms of communication as required.

Develop and maintain relationships with customers and other DoD organizations to understand needs and deliver solutions.

Develop and/or provide input to plans of execution to include scope, budget, resources, risk, and schedule.

Review technical documents (ICDs, Mechanical drawings, requirements, and performance specifications).

Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders and senior leaders.

Travel as required.

Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma and 10 years of experience; BA and 2 years experience, AS and 4, MA and 1 year of experience.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Project execution including planning, cost and budget tracking, schedule and milestone tracking, development and execution of test plans, strategic planning, requirement development, analysis, and documentation.

Detail ordinated, self-starter.
