Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opportunity for a Sensor Verification & Validation Analyst to support missile defense sensor model verification and validation, coordinating data analysis, and report generation.

Responsibilities

The Sensor V&V Analyst provides systems engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Sensors Directorate (SN) Ground Sensors Engineering (SNE) organization by:
  • Attending technical interchange meetings and working groups.
  • Supporting the development and verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) of sensor Models and Simulations (M&S).
  • Supporting the development of technical reports, plans, and briefings.
  • Assisting in the planning and design of tests to collect referent data in support of sensors M&S validation efforts and/or to exercise M&S capabilities.
  • Assisting in the development of solutions to technical issues related to sensors M&S development and VV&A efforts.
  • Reviewing M&S requirement specifications, assessment objectives, and other technical documents.

Qualifications
  • BS or BA degree required
  • 3+ years of experience working on missile defense related or other complex, large DoD programs
  • Experience supporting model validation and accreditation
  • Demonstrated ability to work to analyze and resolve technical problems
  • Active secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in Missile Defense System Radars operational systems and their system interactions
  • Knowledge and experience in Missile Defense systems
  • Knowledge and experience with M&S Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A)
  • Knowledge and experience in MDA/SN Sensor M&S operations and analysis
