Customer Service Representative (Utilities)

Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a local utility provider to identify a Customer Service Representative for a long term opportunity that will eventually result in permanent placement. Well qualified candidates will have previous experience working with a utility provider in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries over the phone related to stop/start service, outages, and account management
  • Process mail-in, electronic, and in person payments
  • Manage disconnections and late fees as appropriate


Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years utility customer service experience
  • Data entry skill and proficiency
