Intermediate .NET/Android Developer


Venturi, LLC a Chenega Company seeks an Intermediate .NET/Android Developer who is passionate about application and mobile development. This individual will design, build, and deploy next generation applications for the United States Marine Corps. Specifically, the application that the candidate will support is a Program of Record Fire Control Application (FCA) to guide loitering/precision strike munitions from far distances, making it easier and safer for Marines to do their jobs effectively.

  • Assist in architecture, designing, and building advanced applications for .NET and Android platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design, and new features
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and functionality
  • Perform code reviews to be the first line of defense and improve product quality
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Work as an agile team member on a Scrum team


Education Requirements:
  • Relevant BS/BA and 3+ years of relevant experience OR
  • AA/AS and 7+ years relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED and 9+ years relevant experience
  • Must possess and maintain a secret security clearance

Required Skills:
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge in software development
  • Working knowledge of .NET development
  • Understanding of the full development lifecycle
  • C#, C++, Java, and Object Oriented Development
  • Candidate must also have a working knowledge of all software development processes and documentation

Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Android development
  • Familiarity with Agile development process
  • Solid problem solving and communication skills
  • A current security clearance
  • Required to adhere to Chenega Corporation mandate that all employees must be fully vaccinated to COVID-19 by December 8, 2021.
