We are looking for a dynamic, Client Partner Account Manager to join our North America Client Partner team. The successful candidate will bring a strong willingness to deeply understand and navigate a client's business and a disciplined approach to maintaining daily sales activity levels to the table. This role will require the ability to prospect and acquire new businesses, clearly articulate the Washington Post value proposition and manage the client experience end to end

Responsibilities include:
  • Sell premium digital and fully integrated advertising products to a pre-determined client base and category through direct client and agency engagement
  • Establish relationships with clients to understand their business needs and goals
  • Provide client coverage for client partner colleagues on parental leave
  • Create customized solutions and close sales for retained/incremental revenue
  • Communicate and report sales plans and actions taken to management
  • Collaborate with internal partners effectively
  • Attend outside functions as needed

Requirements include:
  • Proven experience in digital media sales and marketing
  • Superior skills in communication, customer service, organization and analysis
  • Fearlessness in cold calling clients and providing strategic consult to clients
  • Ability to work well with others and to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, draw conclusions and present findings to internal and external clients
  • Ability to assume accountability for completing assignments accurately and in a timely manner
