C4ISR System Engineer - Army Watercraft Systems

The C4ISR (Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence Surveillance and Recon) System Engineer will provide systems engineering support for the design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, maintenance and continual enhancement for a variety of Army Watercraft systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Lead a combined project team of government and contract employees located in many different locations while meeting directed delivery dates to achieve fielding requirements.

Provide electrical, mechanical and software support to Army Watercraft System planning, design, development, and execution.

Work in a team environment with our Army customer and DCS Engineers.

Develop Subject Matter Expertise on a variety of combat platform subsystems.
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 4 years of experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Experience with embedded, or on-board, vehicle computer systems such as Multi-Function Displays, Power Distribution and Management, Drivers Vision or SA Enhancement.

Familiar with Systems Engineering and Software Engineering processes.

Experience with one or more of the following: LabVIEW, CAN Bus, MIL-STD 1553, Ethernet, Serial Bus Interfaces.

Familiar with DoD C4ISR Systems such as: BFT, SINCGARS, WIN-T and/or familiar with Network Operations or Tactical Intranet.

Familiar with military communications equipment for Combat Platforms.

Ability to travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (10% Travel).

Desired Skills:

Experience with US Army System Electronics Hardware and Software, Maritime Navigation Systems, and/or Maritime Communication Systems

Experience in Information Assurance, Computer Security, Risk Management Framework for Ground Combat/Military Systems.

Experience with the US Code of Federal Regulations Vessels and Maritime Equipment, International Maritime Organization (IMO) Standards, and/or Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) Standards.
