CAS is currently seeking aAdministrative Assistant to join our growing team

Summary:

TheAdministrative Assistant will keep official Corporation records and provide administrative, travel, clerical, and accounting support to the Program Management Office (PMO) Staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support including, telephone coverage, copying, faxing, supply control, and internal/external communications Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Maintain all general administrative support functions to the office to ensure efficient utilization of time and resources
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence and respond independently when needed
  • Administer office operations and provide Program Management Office PMO staff with appropriate documents and records
  • Responsible for managing Expense Authorizations and Reporting for the PMO staff
  • Schedule and organize PMO staff calendar activities and organize activities, like meetings, travel, and office activities
  • Assist in the preparation of briefings, weekly activity reporting, and directory structures
  • Assist PMO staff with Quality and SharePoint program site management
  • Organize and prioritize large volumes of information
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings and events both on and off-site
  • Assist the company Program Controller with invoice payment and processing as needed
  • Assist PMO staff with Purchasing Cards coding, expense reporting queries and follow-ups, daily time collection, and other ad hoc activities as needed
  • Occasional local travel may be required
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • High school diploma with 3+ years administration experience OR
  • Associate degree with 1+ years of experience in:
  • Administrative
  • Customer service in a professional environment
  • Must be able to pass a Microsoft Office skills test at 80% or above and type a minimum of 50 WPM
  • Background check required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have ability to obtain secret clearance if required
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes and terms
  • Full mastery of the English language, including proper grammar and spelling.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Publisher, and Access a plus
  • Able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, balancing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Highly professional and flexible to meet with customers, contractors, and vendors
  • Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations
  • Must be able to present professionally to PMO staff and outside clients
  • Working knowledge of Deltek and Smartsheet is a plus
