HR Administrative Assistant

Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a law firm that is seeking a HR Administrative Assistant to support its corporate office. If you bring knowledge of HR functions, are tech savvy, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity for you!.

This position will be a hybrid role: a mix of onsite and remote work.

  • Perform data entry into HRIS (UKG)
  • Onboard and terminate consultants and update HRIS, process personnel actions and conduct process audits
  • Provide support to Benefits Coordinator with invoicing, training and development programs, benefit plan updates
  • Support with leave data entry, including sick and PTO in timekeeping system
  • Prepare benefits packages
  • Provide administrative support for open enrollment including mailings, data entry, and communication
  • Process expense reimbursements and print reports
  • Proof and type correspondence, distribute mailings, manage documents
  • Complete mail merges, prepare mailings
  • Maintain paper and electronic files
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, including catering and coordinating A/V

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience within a Human Resources or administrative capacity
  • Proficiency with MS Office and HCM systems
  • Analytical mindset and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service and team-oriented mindset; ability to demonstrate good judgement
  • Ability to work in the ambiguous and manage competing priorities
