Research Support Specialist II, GEOINT

Summary

The Research Support Specialist II, GEOINT will perform capability, and development functions for TRADOC Capabilities Management - Intelligence Systems, including development, staffing, and publishing of the Aerial Reconnaissance Low (ARL-E) Capabilities Production Document (CPD).

Responsibilities
  • Provide the TCM-A manned section advice on acquisition management, fielding, sustainment, testing, training, and modernization issues for all manned ISR systems.
  • Provide support to senior Army staff and national agencies on operational and technical requirements and integration of airborne SIGINT and GEOINT collection systems.
  • Update requirements documentation, including Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Operational View/Systems View (OV/SV) documents and represent the TCM-A manned office at critical milestone meetings.
  • Produce and publish EO/IR documents while simultaneously producing the ARL-E CPD.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of meaningful experience
  • TS/SCI clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Senior-level working experience in a geospatial and imagery-related discipline, equivalent military experience in Military Intelligence, GEOINT operations, and TTP
  • Senior-level working experience in GEOINT collection, GEOINT sensor capabilities, collection operations, production, and research
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy
