Program Manager

Summary

The Program Manager will manage all operation aspects of program activity, including cost management, scheduled management, date management, proposal activity, and other related program activities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a principle liaison and manager of the Software Environment.
  • Be the point person for all facilities major points of contacts including:
  • IT and help desk support and resolution
  • Vendor service providers
  • Resolve and manage lease and landlord facility issues
  • Plan, schedule, organize and administer program tasks, budgets, and schedules.
  • Track program against schedule, budget, and phase review objectives, reporting status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff as needed and/or requested.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
  • In charge of managing and creating contract deliverables.
  • Establish and manage customer relationships.
  • Concentrate on the efforts associated with the contract and collaborate with the customer to integrate it with the different elements of customers overall requirements.
  • Investigate and adjust personnel problems among program team members.
  • Effectively recommend as to hiring, promotions, wage adjustments, and terminations.
  • Prepare and present Employee Performance evaluations and submit to corporate according to policy.
  • Recommend and/or lead new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery.
  • Generate various reports/deliverables, including monthly program status reports to the appropriate customers and management personnel.
  • Ensure effective reporting and communication with the client, the program team, and all customers and stakeholders.
  • Manager of all Ajanta personnel on-site
  • Resolve HR issues and refer to corporate HR
  • Manage timesheets and reporting of employees
  • Conduct employee reviews and feedback
  • In charge of reviewing FFP invoices
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of all program staff including, time cards, expense reports, hiring, awards, evaluations, and terminations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT or technical equivalent field and 5+ years of experience managing a project of similar size and complexity
  • A combination of additional experience, education, and training may substitute formal education
  • Proven track record of leadership of large initiatives
  • Background check with the ability to obtain a top secret clearance after hired is required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels, and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications.
  • Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with time related constraints in a fast- paced contract manufacturing environment.
  • Have experiencing managing large groups of people at least 25 at the same time.
  • Speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
