Entry Systems Analyst

Summary

Venturi, LLC., A Chenega Company, has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Systems Analyst who will have expertise in relevant program analytical principles and practices for developmental and operational programs. The Entry Systems Analyst will develop analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities and work as a member of a team solving complex problems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop acquisition regulations and best practices for accomplishing systems engineering within the framework, including concept definition, requirements development, requirements verification, and test planning.
  • Engage with elements for test requirements support, reviewing, and commenting on achievable capabilities assisting in the development of Integrated Master Assessment Plans.
  • Provide inputs and updates to the integrated budgetary process across all technical projects, reviewing implementation and timing of the projects across the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) timeline, and evaluating intelligence community inputs for the threats posed to the BMDS to assist in the performance of risk assessments.
  • Coordinate capability improvements to BMDS.
  • Plan trade studies and analyses to quantify potential performance improvements and concept implementation.
  • Develop technical requirements packages for the acquisition of new capabilities and prototypes for the BMDS.
  • Develop mitigation plans for concerns, risks, and issues to ensure a quality-driven timely deployment of BMDS capability.
  • Support the identification and resolution of technical issues associated with the worldwide deployment of BMD capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a relevant non-STEM field
  • Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience working on missile defense-related or another DoD program/project is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems with supervision.
  • Working knowledge of weapons system components and mission.
  • Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software applications.
  • Ability to execute and complete tasks without supervision.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
