Make To Stock Lead - Overnight

Intralox Make-to-Stock is looking for a Lead on night shift (24x7 7pm to 7am).

A Make to Stock Lead's primary role is to ensure orders meet the necessary quality and service level expectations of Intralox customers by providing timely deliverables to the Assembly team. This role is also responsible to lead and organize huddle updates and LCI teams. This role reports to the MTS Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Tasks to be completed by the Make to Stock Setup Lead include, but are not limited to:
  • · Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety procedures (including COVID protocols) and policies.
  • · Ensure and enforce all specifications, policies and procedures as defined by Quality, Engineering and Operations teams including our MTS team.
  • · Coordinate, observe, maintain, and execute work as scheduled for Make-to-Stock team to achieve production objectives
  • · Participate in capacity planning meetings, training reviews, and identify capacity needs and moves needed to achieve daily production expectations.
  • · Set up, monitor, and adjust to compliance the manual and automated machinery used in production.
  • · Verify the feasibility of customer requests associated with part modification/customization.
  • · Ensure that we have the capability, processes, quality checks, and capacity in place to handle part modifications as requested by the customer.
  • · Proactively identify opportunities to improve process, reduce cost and maintain high levels of productivity and process quality using technology and automation.
  • · Implement and facilitate process, layout and workflow improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
  • · Lead and Organize LCI Teams to solve safety/quality/workflow problems or improve production processes.
  • · Organize and communicate updates on Safety/Quality/Capacity/LCI to team members in huddles.
  • · Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
  • · Exhibit teamwork and self-management
  • · Follow the attendance policy of the Assembly Operations Team
  • · High school diploma or GED
  • · Basic Math and English (reading, writing, and verbal) skills are required
  • · Must possess a strong attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset
  • · Experience in identifying and implementing meaningful process improvements
  • · Highly motivated team player with a continuous improvement approach.
  • · Strong interpersonal communication (written and oral), and organization skills.
  • · Functional in computer applications (Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • · Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • · Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call hours as required
  • · Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 40 pounds
Desired Qualifications
  • · 2 or more years of stable experience as a lead or foreman in a manufacturing environment
  • · 2 or more years of experience in Master-Cam with the ability to setup, troubleshoot and resolve issues within Master-Cam.
  • · 2 or more years of experience in a machining environment, and working knowledge of HAAS interface and tooling capability
  • · College / Associates Degree
  • · Mastercam Certification
  • · Experience with SolidWorks
  • · Experience in using Oracle, Kronos and Noetix
  • · Experience with Lean/5S concepts
