We are looking for a versatile Data Governance Developer to support our IT Data Privacy Management capabilities within IT Data Strategy and Governance (DS&G) team. Candidate should be comfortable with donning multiple hats when working with teams inside and outside IT.

Our Impact:

We are expanding our Data Privacy Management capabilities within the IT Division Data Solutions department. Within Data Solutions, we have multiple teams providing support and services across Cloud Data Engineering, Big Data, Data Management Technology, Enterprise Business Intelligence, Corporate Data Warehouse, Self Service Data Science Platform, Information Lifecycle Management and various agile/scrum based development/delivery teams. The Data Privacy Team serves as a centralized development group using tools such as BigID, Informatica Data Privacy Management and OneTrust to serve the business needs!

Your Impact:
  • Serve as a Developer within the Data Privacy Team, and as liaison between this office and rest of Data Strategy & Governance and overall Data Solutions team at times
  • Contribute to and lead periodically efforts related to data privacy management, developing skills to serve solutions using existing capabilities
  • Contribute to and lead both recurring and ad-hoc development tasks within the Data Privacy Management capabilities
  • Contribute to data privacy project- and program- related analysis, status, metrics and achievement tracking, planning and roadmap contribution in addition to development needs
  • Analyze business requirements to independently convert them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications
  • Write system-level requirements per the selected methodology - functional process models, user stories, software requirement specifications
  • Review technical designs to ensure accurate and complete translation of business requirements into detailed system level requirements.
  • Provide support a small Agile Team including basic system maintenance, administrations, solve and debug infrastructure, network, and operating system issues
  • Partner with the Scrum Master, Technical Lead, and team to provide system expertise in drafting roadmaps.
  • Act as an authority for specific domains
  • Assist in providing or facilitating the resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems.
  • Prioritize assignments and working independently to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets customer expectations
  • Recommend process changes to enable efficiency gains

  • 2+ years of experience with Informatica DPM / BigID or similar tools.
  • Experience with data management, data quality or data governance a plus
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), analytical and programming / development capabilities
  • Ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate the system requirements that support the required system changes to meet the business need
  • Experience translating/explaining technical decisions/concepts into business terms
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with customers, team members, and management
  • Relevant certifications (ex. PgMP, CISP, CDMP) would be a plus.
