Partner Marketing Manager, Sponsorships & Special Projects

Working closely with Appian's Partner Sales Team and reporting to the Senior Director of Partner Marketing, we are seeking an experienced marketer responsible for managing and supporting sponsorship sales, fulfillment and special projects. The preferred candidate will develop strategic sponsorship packages, oversee sales, and manage fulfillment and execution for key global marketing programs. The candidate will also manage special projects including development of key collateral to support partner developed solutions and assist in overseeing key lead-generation programs to grow and accelerate sales pipeline and revenue for the channel.

  • Develop, sell and fulfill sponsorships for key global Appian hosted conferences
  • Conduct market research to ensure Appian is on the forefront of sponsorship offerings
  • Manage and monitor sponsorship sales revenue and provide forecast on revenue targets
  • Collaborate on key marketing campaigns and assets needed to support partner lead generation programs to help drive mutual customer growth and revenue
  • Manage Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and allocations with key partners
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Channel Sales, Product/Campaigns/Industry/Solutions Marketing, Creative Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Marketing Operations
  • Advocate effectively for partners and their needs throughout Appian

  • 3-5 years experience in a Campaign Management and/or Partner Sales/Alliances Role in an enterprise software environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze, act on go to market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions and business cases around partnerships
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate and implement a focused plan
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to travel approximately up to 20%
