Senior Accountant

The qualified individual will coordinate month-end close processes, support financial analysis and profitability reporting, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate month-end close, including planning and follow up
  • Review of general ledger accounts for accuracy, completeness, and trends
  • Document and summarize key financial variances
  • Preparation of supporting schedules and financial reports
  • Support interim and year end audits, coordinating requests with external auditors
  • Consolidation and review of foreign subsidiaries
  • Participate in adoption of new lease accounting standards and manage ongoing lease accounting
  • Support standard cost update processes and review of material costs
  • Monthly accrual journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation/review
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting
  • Participate in projects driven by company initiatives, including systems/process changes
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Accounting or related study, with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication and effective collaboration skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of inventory/manufacturing processes
  • Experience with Oracle and/or other large ERP system preferred
  • International accounting experience a plus
