FoodSafe Sales Engineer

Intralox is seeking a FoodSafe Sales Engineer to be a key member of our food industry team. As a lead technical resource, your role will be to support pro-active connections with our customers which fortify and expand our partnerships by highlighting our transformative technology and showcasing the value it creates. With exceptional presentation skills and strong technical knowledge, you will play a pivotal role in educating our partners on the unique offerings of Intralox's patented technology and FoodSafe services.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead training and presentations for North American customer base
  • Implementation and execution of Intralox's FoodSafe Program including technical customer consultations for Intralox specific products
  • Providing proactive technical consultation to customers through risk evaluations and design reviews of construction and retrofit projects
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers through timely, regular visits.
  • Mastering, implementing, and developing presentations about product, services and application knowledge utilizing software such as but not limited to Solidworks, AutoCAD, MS PowerPoint, MS Dynamics, MS Teams, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Food Science, related discipline, or 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the food processing industry with significant experience in plant maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation with a food manufacturing company
  • Excellent training and presentation skills and the ability to explain mechanical and food safety concepts to those not specialized in the field
  • Solid understanding of food processing and the ability to interact with Microbiologists, Maintenance Managers, Sanitation Managers, Chemists, Engineers, and Management
  • Ability to set priorities, utilize and coordinate resources, and manage projects from start to finish with little supervision
  • Desire to travel to North American customer locations, approximately 25-35%; mostly predictable and scheduled.
