Job Description

Advertising technology is slow. Zeus Performance is the next generation ad framework for rendering highly performant ads. Originally built for the Washington Post, we are now offering Zeus Performance to other publishers as a way to speed up advertising technology on their sites, with over 100 sites launched in the first year. As a member of the Zeus Performance team, you will be the subject matter expert on all ad tech partners, while deciding who best to partner with to ensure the success of our Zeus publisher clients. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can succeed in a fast paced startup like environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day-to-day account management of Zeus ad tech partners such as Supply Side Platforms (SSPs), Data Management Platforms (DMP), Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Identity Solutions.
  • Develop and maintain new relationships with potential ad tech partners.
  • Coordinate integrations with new partners across account management and development teams.
  • Monitor partner performance across all clients by analyzing trends.
  • Spearhead internal and external operational documentation & processes for partners.
  • Work with Zeus publisher clients to understand their ad tech initiatives and work with product to incorporate into the roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate any issues with ad tech partners post-launch.
  • Develop strategy for incorporating partner updates and initiatives within the Zeus Performance framework.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with emphasis on coursework in marketing, advertising, business; preferably a degree in Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • 2+ years experience in the digital media/advertising landscape.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization with proven ability to handle multiple priorities and evolving initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to convey conclusions from analytics and reporting to all levels of management.
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs.
  • Experience with headerbidding/SSPs preferred.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager preferred.
  • Familiarity with DMPs, CDPs, Identity Solutions preferred.
