Accountability reporting will be a mainstay of the work.

This position will focus on covering political and demographic shifts across Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, states where deep political divisions have spawned significant social movements and given rise to consequential state policies. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and versatile, adept at developing sources and producing timely and memorable stories about rising political leaders, bruising policy battles and changing cultural norms. We also need someone willing to travel on a moment's notice.
