43 percent of the workforce is bored at work, according to a 2016 Udemy for Business report. The reason this is a major issue is that some of the highest-performing companies are fueled by people who love what they do.

Studies continue to find that millennials are particularly disengaged at work. And, if you're anything like millennials, you want to feel fulfilled, as though you're making some sort of difference in the world.

If you're feeling bored with work these days, let's take a look at why that may be and how to reignite your everyday fire. While these considerations aren't going to blow your mind, we hope they'll help you start to consider the manner in which you spend a huge portion of your life.

How Did We Get Here?

We all have our natural inclinations. For some, it may be the written word. For others, their gregarious nature makes them natural-born salespeople.
